A Letter from the President
Dear Graduates,
As we come to the close of a truly extraordinary year, I find myself reflecting on the journey you have traveled to get to commencement – a journey so different from the paths of other graduates before you.
You have risen to the challenges of this extraordinary year with grace, grit and determination. I am so proud, and so in awe of you.
You are truly the standard bearers of CSUB ‘Runner spirit.
The diversity of your experiences and the paths you have taken to reach this important milestone are signs of the great strength of our university.
Many of you are the first in your families to attend college.
Many of you are veterans.
Many of you have returned to college to start new careers …
